About us
After seeing a picture of a stained concrete floor in a magazine,
Tana Van Cleave showed her husband, Jerry, and suggested it was
something that they should take a look at. A subsequent trip to a
Dallas remodeler's show found staining products, and the front
porch of the Van Cleave home became their first stained
concrete job.

Quickly understanding the attractiveness of process, Jerry, with
a life-long construction background, added staining to his
construction business. Originally planning to call the business
UniqueCrete, Tana's son Grant, who now is VanCretes Office
Manager and in house artist, thought of "Vancrete" and it stuck.
Leaving her legal career, Tana joined the staining part of the
business and they began VanCrete decorative Concrete full time,
over eight years ago. In June 2009, Vancrete moved to its current
location where customers can view full floors of several
pattern/color/texture variations.

VanCrete is also active in artisitic endeavors in the Tulsa Area.
Using the same overlay materials and stains that would be used
on exterior driveway or interior floor, VanCrete makes
hand-formed garden heads, cast "pot-heads" and framed pieces
for indoor or outdoor display.

Jerry and Tana love living in Tulsa with their daughter, Walker,
who attends Union Public Schools, and three cats, one dog, and a
beta!
